The purity of gold is measured using the “karat” system in the u.s. the karat system measures the ratio of pure gold to parts of non-precious metal there is in a piece of gold jewelry. One karat is 1/24 part or 4.1667% of the whole piece of jewelry.
So:
10k gold is 41.6% gold purity 10 parts gold to 14 parts metal. 10 parts gold = 41.6% 14 parts metal = 58.3%
14k gold is 58.3% gold purity 14 parts gold to 8 parts metal. 14 parts gold = 58.3% 10 parts metal = 41.6%
18k gold is 75% gold purity 18 parts gold to 6 parts metal. 18 parts gold = 75% 6 parts metal = 25%
24k gold is 99.5% or higher in purity 24 out of 24 parts are gold

Yincity Gold 24K jewelry is priced by gram weight at the current gold market price. Our design, service, and labor fee ranges from 35–45% depending on item weight, design, and features.

Our profit margin is under 20%. To manage costs, we require:
- 100g minimum for men's first orders
- 75g minimum for women's first orders

Repeat clients may order smaller items like bracelets and rings.

Once confirmed, we issue a 24-hour pre-quote based on the current gold price. Final price may vary ±5% depending on market shifts. Product weight may also vary up to 1 gram during handcrafting.

Yincity Gold guarantees our product meets U.S. 24K purity standards. If unsatisfied, we buy it back for the current gold price minus a 10% melt/process fee.
